"I've learned that efficiency can be much more important that quantity." Brian Kurz shares what he learned about agriculture in 2018.
The most important thing I've learned about ag is the difference between what is right and - I don't necessarily want to say what is being pushed. But, sometimes doing what is easy is definitely not what is right.
I found that out with application of nutrients. Coming in to it, I thought the amount of nutrients I applied was the most important thing, not the actual placement. I've learned that efficiency can be much more important than quantity.
That's probably the single biggest thing I am going to take into 2019 as we move forward with this year's crop.
